We’re excited to introduce Stream’s latest white-label partner - GoTab!
GoTab is utilizing Stream’s Order and Menu Management solution for their dynamic and growing user base. Get to know GoTab a bit better and their new integration with Stream below:
Introduction to GoTab Solution
GoTab, Inc. is more than a Point-of-Sale (POS) for hospitality businesses. The platform helps restaurants, breweries, eatertainment, food halls, hotels, and other venues improve the guest experience while addressing the substantial inefficiencies that continue to plague the hospitality industry. Featuring a sophisticated POS that can optionally integrate with other popular POS and property management systems (PMS), GoTab also includes a robust bar and kitchen display system (KDS) with integrated two-way messaging to optimize operations and delivery.
With simple, transparent pricing, no lock-in contracts, 24/7/365 live on-shore support, flexible hardware options, and best-in-class integration capabilities, GoTab is a powerful platform that operators can adapt to their unique needs. It can be integrated with existing POS systems, improving functionality without requiring a complete system overhaul. This adaptability ensures that establishments can swiftly respond to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
Could you tell what went into GoTab’s decision to integrate the Stream solution?
GoTab evaluated a wide range of third party order aggregation solutions and found Stream to be the most robust and flexible solution at a very affordable price point. And because it’s seamlessly integrated with the GoTab platform, our customers benefit from easy onboarding, eliminating the hurdles associated with disconnected hardware and software interfaces.
Dan Budd's, Chef and Owner at Taste Budds Cafe in Red Hook, NY told us:
"After trying many others, Stream’s direct integration with our GoTab point of sale has been the absolute best third party aggregation solution. It’s fast, reliable, easy to use and although support is not needed much, Stream and GoTab are with you right away and all the way."
In addition to Stream's direct integration and it's ease-of-use, here are some more Stream capabilities that GoTab customers can utilize:
- Stream allows for GoTab customers to make all their menu changes in the GoTab POS, which are then instantly reflected on selected 3rd-parties
- Orders flow from 3rd party to GoTab to allow for accurate revenue reporting and accounting reconciliation
- Stream has allowed for large Foodhalls on GoTab to connect 25+ concepts within 1 location to 3rd-party channels within minutes
What are some of GoTab's plan for for the next 12-24 months?
We deliver a robust suite of innovations that cater to the various needs of our customers that make sense for their individual business models. As a result of servicing so many sectors, we are constantly innovating to address challenges we identify. Easy Tab is a perfect example of a patented unique feature that really excites our operators because it reduces liability and processing costs, and increases guest sales and satisfaction simultaneously.
We are particularly excited about the increasing trend towards self-service. Technologies that enable self-service can significantly improve the guest and operator experience in a number of areas, with some guest-facing benefits including shorter lines and wait times, heightened convenience and control over their own ordering and payment experience. As for businesses, self-service enables operators to save on labor and mitigate order inaccuracies while driving operational efficiency and hospitality. Our self-ordering kiosk is ideal for high-volume venues with limited staff.
Another recent innovation is our Insufficient Funds Protection product. When a guest initiates an order with a credit or debit card, GoTab performs an automatic authorization, locking the funds equivalent to the outstanding balance. Each time the guest places a new order, GoTab repeats the authorization. It’s a novel approach in the industry, designed to mitigate losses associated with failed charges and insufficient funds occurrences.
